PAY RANGE:
$90,000 - $110,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Senior Accountant at Total Tool, you’ll play a key role in supporting our accounting functions across many locations. You will get exposure to and have significant responsibility for the general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets, taxation, insurance, banking and more! This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, enhance financial operations, and contribute to our company's continued success.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of balance sheet results and reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, cut-offs, and P&L allocations.
- Assist with audits, including the preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for external auditors.
- Design and implement effective accounting procedures and internal controls over financial reporting, with a focus on balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile cash accounts, perform sales and margin reviews, and manage fixed asset transactions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes.
- Cross-train across various accounting functions to ensure team flexibility and continuity.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., V-Lookups, Sum-If statements).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- A commitment to ethical standards and personal integrity.
- This is a primarily sedentary role, requiring sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal.
- Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise.
- Occasional standing, bending, walking and lifting is also required.
