As a Web Sling Fabricator for Total Tool, you'll be responsible for producing, inspecting and testing synthetic assemblies and round slings in accordance with company manufacturing methods and standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build all flat and round synthetic slings to meet ASME and Total Tool standards.
  • Complete all work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all equipment and conduct weekly equipment inspections.
  • Review all work orders for correct components.
  • Conduct monthly rigging batch testing.
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complete annual safety training. 
 
PAY RANGE:
$20-$22 per hour, based on experience. 
 
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • No sewing experience required - just a good attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn!
  • Hardworking, Humble, and Hungry
  • Ability to learn internal computer program
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to learn sewing patterns and stitch length
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Bilingual preferred - Spanish and English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to regularly walk up and down stairs as well as throughout production and warehouse facility. 
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs. 
  • The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
  • Qualified candidates must be able to communicate effectively in a typical production environment with a standard level of production noise.
